Whether at the time of the commencement of mediation there is an on-going relationship between the parties (workplace mediation), or the relationship between the parties cease to exist (employment mediation), our mediators are equipped with the skills and expertise to engage the parties in progressive communication so that they can find a resolution to their dispute. Our fee scale is intended to provide a fair reflection of the value of the value of the dispute. We do not charge for preparation time or for England and Wales travel time. At the time of the last update our fee scale was as follows:
Employment mediation £100 per hour (per party) Workplace mediation £100 per hour (per party)
Terms and conditions: 1. Fees and expenses, plus VAT, are per party 2. Fees do not include other expenses such as room hire. An estimate of these cost can be given at the time mediation fees are quoted. 3. Mediation booking must be for a minimum of two hours. Bookings are only confirmed after payment is received.
Payment: 4. Fees are payable in advance of mediation. 5. A final balancing invoice or credit note, if applicable, will be issued and become payable immediately following the mediation.
Cancellation: 6. Where a cancellation is made after the mediation date has been agreed and payment has been made, but more than 12 weeks ahead of the mediation date, there will be no cancellation charge. 7. Where a cancellation is made between 12 and 2 weeks of the mediation date after payment is received, 50% of the agreed fee will be payable. 8. Where a cancellation is made within 14 working days of the mediation date (excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays), 75% of the agreed fee will be payable. 9. Where a cancellation is made within 48 hours of the mediation date (excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays), the full agreed fees will be payable.
